Had a great holiday in Ireland and particularly enjoyed our stay at Harbour Crest. It was like a home from home. Nan was a great hostess and was a fountain of knowledge about the locality and where we should visit. The breakfast was wonderful. In particular we loved the soda bread and homemade jam.The room was clean and very comfy... More

While we loved our hostess and enjoyed our breakfast alot, we did have some difficulties with our stay. Unfortunately, there was a mix up between the owner and her handyman and the water in our room was turned off all night. We also arrived around 6:30 or 6:45pm, and no one was home. No problem, we went to dinner at... More

Mrs. McCarthy is a great host and her family were just as delightful as she was. The room was clean and comfortable. You would think that the area would be the highlight but Harbour Crest is a highlight all by itself. More

We booked Nan's B&B due to its location in Kinsale according to B&B Ireland. Actually it is about 15 miles away. But overall we ended up being very satisfied with our stay of three days. Nan, the owner, is a very warm and comfortable hostess. She and her husband ran a bar in Kinsale for many years and that experience... More

Nice place to stay- very clean and friendly. A bit of a way out of town (not actually in Kinsale). Good breakfast. More

This B&B was a delight to stay out. Nan was a gracious host with many many years of B&B experience which was evident from her lovely breakfasts , local knowledge and her ease of dealing with people . I would not hesitate to recommend this homely place to any weary traveller- and -- oh the views are amazing!!! More

Nan was an amazing hostess and the view was fantastic. Kinsale is about a 15-20 minute drive and is a lovely town to visit. There wasn't much within walking distance other than The Pink Elephant resturant, so plan on driving when staying here. The nearby cows sang us to sleep every night, we saw foxes, and cats and her dog... More

My wife and I really loved our stay at this B & B. Nan greeted us with tea, cookies, and cakes. She is an incredible woman. The room was really nice and provided everything we needed. Nan recommended the Pink Elephant as a good choice for dinner. It was an excellent choice. The food was outstanding and the Guinness was... More

My friend and I arrived a bit early to the Harbour Crest but while we waited for Nan to return we enjoyed the fantastic views and played with her beautiful dog, Mick. Nan came within 5 minutes, explaining she had to get some milk. She was very kind and welcoming. Her B&B is distinctly her home as it has many... More
