The room and bathroom were large, there was a nice view from the front of the house. Friendly hosts. Unfortunately cash only and not a safe walk to the town. Good Irish breakfast, but the porridge recipe can remain a secret. Make sure you eat dinner at Fishy Fishy at least once - you will need to book though.

We stayed two night with Claire at her beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Claire is such a gracious and pleasant hostess, making us feel right a t home the moment she opened the door. Stayed 2 nights. Lovely home with wonderful breakfast. Had the pancakes both mornings. Very warm and inviting. You feel like your part of the family. They gave excellent suggestions as to how to spend our days to see the most of county cork. Came home both evenings to a nice warm fire. Hated to leave the view.

Rivermount House was an absolute favorite of ours in Ireland. The town of Kinsale is a great place to visit... and Rivermount the perfect place to stay. The property is immaculate. The location of Rivermount House is a bit outside of Kinsale, but it more than makes up for it with its view of the bay and surrounding countryside. Breakfast was delicious and the proprietors (though they were out when we arrived) were friendly and helpful in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay.
