My wife and I spent two nights here last Fall when we couldn't find a vacancy inside of Kinsale proper. We were referred here by another B&B owner in-town. It ended up being one of the finest places we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The property is stunning and the rooms... More

This house is unequalled in the country. Di and Guy have perfected the art of being the perfect hosts serving wonderful breakfasts, including fresh squeezed orange juice and organic bacon, and fresh fruit from their own orchard. The bedrooms exude comfort and overlook Courtmacsherry Bay. Fires blaze in the reception rooms which are extremely comfortable with ample reading material. A... More

Of the eight breakfast’s we had on a touring holiday of Ireland my wife thought the one she was served at the Glen far exceed any of the others. As I don’t eat pork (sausages, bacon, black pudding) I did not eat as heartily as she did. The perfect country house B&B and in a magical setting. I hope to... More

We had a lovely Saturday night stay at the Glen Country House, B&B. Welcome tea and coffee on the lawn in the afternoon sunshine, a comfortable room with excellent linens and bathroom, and very good breakfast; all in all the place has a wonderful sense of calm which quickly filters through to the guest. It should be marked as a... More

This manor house is in a beautiful setting with comfortable, large room. Diana and Guy were most gracious. We had dinner one night which rivaled some of the best meals we ate, and breakfast was wonderful including homemade rhubarb and eggs fresh from their own hens. We will be back. More

My family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Glen. In fact it spoiled us because none of the other bed and breakfasts or hotels could compare. From the moment we entered this beautifully decorated home, we felt pampered. Upon on arrival we were offered coffee or tea in the sitting room which was served along with delicious ginger... More

My wife and I stayed here in early May and wow...what an amazing B&B. YES... it's a B&B...it's a cozy, home feel. If you're looking for a hotel environment, this is not the place. But let me tell you...the house and surrounding area is so beautiful. They had a warm fire for us in the sitting room, all rooms were... More

After searching online for a holiday where we could bring our horses in Ireland we finally found it in The Glen Country House. The accommodation is well worth its 5 stars. and the same goes for the horses accommodation. With the stables overlooking the bay, fantastic manege and miles of beach to ride on at our leisure we really felt... More
