We stayed in a suite with fabulous views of the sea when we visited for a wedding. The hotel is lovely, and the food we ate was fantastic, especially the hearty breakfast. Yum! The room was perfectly nice, but given the high price, I would have expected a few little extras or a bit of character. As it was clean,... More

We have had the pleasure of enjoying 3 family events in Dunmore over the past 2 years, the most recent being last November. The family-run hotel ensures that all occasions are celebrated with a high level of professionalism and in style. The hotel has the most wonderful sea-views and a request for a room with a view is a must!... More

Our son's wedding reception was held at the Dunmore House. We were guests for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. Carol, the owner, and her staff were incredibly flexible & hospitable - timing for serving the wedding dinner, finding rooms for last minute guests, getting up early to get us breakfast before a morning flight and flying our... If you are looking for a stunning coastal view coupled with excellent quality accommodation then the Dunmore House Hotel is well worth considering. We stayed here on our homeward journey from the South West corner of Ireland and it made for an excellent break before making for the ferry back to UK, the next day. The accommodation throughout is of... More

We stayed at Dunmore House for a night for a family members wedding. We stayed in a family room, which was perfect for 4 of us. The MOST comfortable bed I've ever slept on! And the view was absolutely amazing, waking up with a view over the water. Wonderful breakfast as well, we'll be back! Only negatives, a bit pricey,... More

This is one of my favourite hotels in Ireland, it is not exceptional in any one area except perhaps in it's views from all rooms but overall the experience is nothing short of fantastic and you would have to be very picky not to rate this hotel full marks from staff to extremely comfortable beds to food to location to... We were very disappointed with our stay. Room 515 is small, old fashioned and way overpriced! More

We are absolutely delighted we chose Dunmore House as the venue for our wedding in July. Of course the location on the West Cork Coast is amazing, but the hotel itself is really lovely with a warm family atmosphere, simple and elegant. We cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and its wonderful staff, especially Anne Marie Carol and Margaret,who... More
