We spent one night at Cesh Corran last winter while on vacation. The room was nice and clean and our welcome was hearty. The bed was comfortable and our host was gracious. Breakfast was delicious! The only downside we encountered was the cash only payment. We would have preferred another option of payment as a convenience. The location was directly... More

Very good in every aspect. This review has to be 50 characters but I kind of summarised in the first sentence. More

We spent a week touring Ireland and this was definitely the best and most memorable stop. Despite the fact that we arrived late Mary welcomed us most heartily, the moment we saw her we felt at home - and even in view of famous Irish hospitality her welcome was really on its own! She gave us most detailed instructions on... More

We had a warm and friendly reception when we arrived at Cesh Corran. Mary had spotless and comfortable room for us. I am a vegetarian and a celiac so I have to be very fussy about my food. This was no bother to Mary who cooked me a superb breakfast. She was meticulous about food hygiene and the two breakfasts that... More

I recently stayed at this B&B in Boyle, county Roscommon and had an absolutely wonderful day & night, I wish could have stayed longer. The house was easy to find, with parking in the back; Mary gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and gave us tour information and some great tips about where to eat and wander to in... More

Our trip schedule only allowed us a one-night stay in Cesh Corran, but we will definitely be back. The Boyle Abbey was closed during our visit, but it provided a wonderful view from our window. Mary was full of information about the area, and her visiting granddaughters were absolutely precious. More

We arrived in this B&B for a friends wedding and we were very disappointed and we werent the only one out of our party who felt the same, my sausages tasted sour and my better half found a hair in his fried egg. Would not recommend this to anyone. More

We welcome all comments and suggestions as to how we can improve on the services offered; however we feel this guest is trying to justify her reason for not showing for the second night for which she had pre booked on a Bank Holiday week-end at the hiight of season. Our cook is male and he does not have a... More

My mother and I stayed one night in September at Cesh Corran, and were very pleased with our choice. Our room was comfortable and clean and, although it looked out over the main road, was very quiet overnight. It's quite amazing to look out the bedroom window and see, directly across the road, the impressive ruins of Boyle Abbey, currently... More

My wife and I stayed at Cesh Corran B&B at the beginning and end of our six-day, self-guided, Iron Donkey bicycle tour. Following the tour, we stayed at Cesh Corran on our own to see more of the area. The B&B, owned by Mary Cooney, is in Boyle, Ireland. The town itself has a nice selection of pubs, restaurants, and... We have stayed in all grades of accommodation from the seven star in UAE to hostel accommodation in Glendalough but none compares to Cesh Corran for the hospitality and warm welcome we received on arrival. The bedroom was beautifully/tastefully decorated. Our room was called the lavender room and how appropriate! All home baking, preserves and beautifully cooked breakfasts. my partner... More
