Recently stayed overnight in the holyrood hotel with my husband & 18 month old. Really could not praise the room we had enough. Large room, new cot for baby, plenty of space, room was to the front of the hotel along the main road but not at all noisy. Very child friendly hotel & a lot of activities on for... more

What can I say..... we were warned not to stay here but Bundoran was booked out and this was the only available accommodation. I will say well done on the website, it is very informative. I couldn't believe how shabby the hotel was. It needs a good clean and a facelift-my gosh it is so out of date!!! Our friends... more

Rooms above a nightclub...awful. Travelling with my husband and my elderly mother we were never advised that we would be located in a hotel that clearly was catering for a group who wanted a lively nightlife. The club kept going until after 3am and by the time the crowds dispursed it was 4am....and then the party started in rooms in... more

The communal areas are lovely that makes the shock of the rooms even more earth shattering - we moved rooms because we were unhappy, and in our UPGRADED room we got, mould on the walls, the lovely smell of damp and mould, the wallpaper falling off the walls, broken headboard, towels like sandpaper, blanketed beds, no grouting in bathroom, no soap... more

I cannot believe in this day and age a hotel of this standard can trade and charge the rates they are charging. I can safely say this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Arrived to check in with extended family for a wedding. We went to our room to see no remote control a few fuzzy channels... more

some terrible reviews on here, so booked with trepidation, but really not that bad and some aspects very good. 1. room nice - large, clean and very quiet - in fact the quietest hotel i'd stayed in for a long time. 2. spa was really lovely - again i was surprised, expecting rubbish, broken down stuff. very peaceful and relaxing.... more

Where's the rooms they have on their website!!????? The place smelled mouldy! We were freezing in the room-asked about the heating, was told it came on at 9.00-went back to room at night after the music & still freezing-radiators were ice cold!! (warmer outside) Had a freezing, stinking breakfast at 9.00 in the morning when we were finished the line of... more

Dirty and smelled of stale smoke in rooms. Even foyer was grubby and smelly. TV didn't work in room, even with remote control which was 10euro deposit. No fan working in ensuite. Food ok nothing special. Leisure centre small but the best part of hotel. Can't believe whoever owns this hotel would actually expect any one to pay for its... more
