My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely old mansion. Agnes was a delightful hostess and directed us to a lovely sitting area on the main floor for a relaxing evening. Our bedroom was a two bedroom ensuite which was much more than we had paid for. Breakfast was lovely and very filling in a resort type dining... More

Cavangarden House B&B (near) Ballyshannon Cavangarden House is an old mansion at the end of a tree lined winding drive which must be at least half a kilometre from the main road giving it a very quiet setting. Our room was, expectedly, old but clean although we did look at each other when we simultaneously saw 2 towels thrown over... More

We travel to Ireland yearly and without fail always stay at Cavangarden. The hostess is pleasant and helpful. The nicely decorated rooms are spacious. There are a delicious choices for breakfast. Agnes slips a menu under your door nightly so you can select the time and breakfast you want. We have always had a wonderful stay at Cavangarden and cannot... More

Very nice accommodations with a good breakfast and friendly hostess. The grounds around the house are beautiful, and it is only a short trip into Ballyshannon for a meal or some entertainment. Belleek Pottery is very close, about 10 minutes away. The room we had was nice, the only complaint would be that there was a frustratingly weak shower. More

We had a booking here that was made weeks in advance to have one of the rooms in the 1750s Georgian Manor. We reconfirmed twice and after having landed in Belfast and driven all through the North (Dunluce Castle was my highlight of the North although Glenarm Castle gardens were a very, very, very close second) we called again to say... We were very impressed with this lovely old home which was located down a long drive in a country setting. The rooms were very large - easy for sharing - and are furnished with lovely antiques. Our hostess (Agnes) was helpful and sent us to a great restaurant for dinner (overlooking the Atlantic) and she provided us with a very... More

The Cavangarden was a bit hard to find but worth the hunt. Agnes was a great hostess in this beautiful home surrounded by rolling hills to the family owned farm. This home is very elegant and Agnes prepared a great breakfast in a room that was over looking the farm. We would highly recommend a quiet stay at Cavangarden. Bellek... More

This was our favorite B & B in Ireland. The house was absolutely gorgeous and the rooms were very comfortable and large. The owner of the house was attentive, even offering a space heater b/c we were traveling with a baby. We asked if there was anywhere we could do laundry and she had it done for us by morning... More

A lovely old house in a picturesque country setting. This is budget accomodation which is very clean, reasonably comfortable and provides an excellent breakfast. The owners/staff are extemely friendly and helpful. You will need to have a car and it is fairly convenient to Yeats grave, Lissadell House and the town of Sligo (where lots of lovely friendly people live... More
