I have to say having been to this hotel yesterday for a family occasion, my faith in people and service has been renewed. I can only say having travelled to many countries I have yet to receive such GENUINE service and friendliness. The desire to please and make sure you were happy was unique. I know you can say the... I was on vacation to visit family and my cousin who has lived in Ballyshannon his entire life was quick to recommend this hotel. I must say, coming from the US I have never stayed in a place quite like it. Yes, it's decorated in an old fashioned type of way but that is the intention. It is very charming,... More

I have to say this hotel was a total surprise to me on a recent visit to Donegal. It is a family run hotel that puts professionalism and value only behind warmt and hospitality. Don't expect the rooms to be decorated with the most up to date styling, instead expect clean quiet rooms, large breakfasts done the old fashioned way... More

Dorrian's is a real find, an excellent country town hotel in the old style with first rate facilities in the heart of Ballyshannon. A friendly welcome and helpful staff, a perfect base to explore the locality. Great breakfasts in a marvellous dining room. I cannot recommend this hotel too highly. More

Dorians in Ballyshannon is an old hotel, but don't let that put you off, that means old and real hospitality, something that is almost gone from the modern Irish hotel. The rooms are large and exceptionally clean and there's real character and a sense of history to this hotel. During our stay the hotel was very quite - which made... More

I actually had my wedding reception in this hotel. It is a wonderful, family-run hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here and in fact they go out of their way for their guests. The hotel is right in the centre of Ballyshannon so within walking distance of everything. It is suitable for young and older guest alike... More

My Partner and I recently stayed here for a weekend break to attend a concert in the locality. My overall impression of the place was one of a quirky little hotel with very friendly staff, in a great central location and a homely athmosphere. A hotel I would recommend for anyone tired of the faceless multi-national hotel chains and wants... More

This was a very relaxed and peaceful holiday. I went with family 3 adults and 3 children. The rooms were very well equipped, large and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and nothing wa any trouble for them. The food was delicious. We really enjoyed ourselves and my children had a great time with plenty of room. We certainly... More

We stayed in Ballyshannon at the Dorrian's Imperial for two nights so that we could explore Co. Donegal and the north west of Ireland. I debated for a long time over where to stay, but after staying in Ballyshannon, I couldn't be happier with where we ended up. It was an incredibly charming town that's a great jumping off point...
