This is a lovely family owned small lodge that offers very personal and comfortable touches-ie., a library, a self service bar, etc. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. The breakfast was fabulous-I even tried blood pudding which was good. (We're American-never tried it). The owners were helpful about attractions, but never overbearing. More

We stayed in Emlagh Country House for the first time in June. We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. The house is absolutely stunning. The room we were given was lovely and large with a beautiful bathroom and a fabulous view over the bay where we spotted the local resident dolphin, Fungi showing off to the boats. The traditional... This was the first place we stayed on our honeymoon in May 2009. We flew in to Shannon Airport and, against the advice of my travel agent, drove straight to Dingle. Her worry was that we would have such a long drive coming straight off a lengthy flight, but it was definitely feasible. My BIGGEST regret about our entire honeymoon... More

Grainne, our host, translates into Grace in English and Emlagh is the most graceful B&B in which we have ever stayed. It could not be bettered and is within walking distance of the many excellent restaurants in Dingle. It provides an perfect base from which to explore the spectacular Dingle peninsular. Breakfasts are to gourmet level and the Baked Eggs... More

Emlagh House is one of those places that is so good you don't want to tell anybody else about it in case they get too busy and you can't get a room the next time you visit ! I stayed in July 2010 and its taken this long to post the review. The place is beautiful, soft carpets, gorgeous decoration, sumptuous... More

Having recently stayed in Emlagh Country House, I was very disappointed. It looks nice in the picture but overall it is an uncomfortable place to stay, you feel like an intruder. At the end of the day at 220 per night for bed and breakfast it is overpriced. More

From the moment we arrived we felt that we had found something extra special and the experience was amazing. Grainne and her mum Marion made us feel so welcome. Our stay with them was all too short and look forward to a longer return visit to this magnificent house. More

Having stayed at some wonderful places all over the world in the past 30 years, Emlagh House ranks among the most memorable experiences we've had. The comfort of the house itself is exceeded only by the warmth and attention of Marian and her daughter. We spent four nights with two other couples and were constantly impressed by the wonderful breakfasts,... More

Emlagh House is gorgeous - big airy rooms with high ceilings and bay windows and views over the Atlantic - colours of honeysuckle, apricots, golds and mandarin orange. Modern but beautifully maintained and with lovely antique furnishing. A warm, friendly service from mother and daughter team Marion and Grainne with great advice on local restaurants and entertainment. A great breakfast... More

One of the best places I have stayed. We were given a very warm and thoughtful welcome and this thoughtfulness continued throughout our stay: a glass of milk for my two year-old daughter put out at breakfast, gentle offers of tea, coffee and cake in the drawing room whenever we came in (not a hint of Mrs Doyle) and very...
