Nice hostel, clean and comfortable. Breakfast (cereals, toast, tea/coffee inc. in price). The owner is friendly and helpful. Good location to visit the peninsula. About 15 min. from Dingle town, 5 min. to Inch, 15 min. to Brandon Bay. Good location for surfers: 5 min. to the breaks at Inch and 15 min. to those in Brandon Bay. Also good... More

A nice, big and comfortable hostel on the Dingle peninsula just outside of Anascoul. Brian the owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome despite late notice and being the only ones there (having to heat the building for us etc). The kitchen is big and well stocked, the common room comfy with a wood burner and big TV... More

We've been staying at the hostel for only one night, but we had a great time. We requested the room on short notice and Brian, the owner, answerded almost immediately. We've been there in January and Brian prepared the place just for the two of us. When we arrived he was just about making a fire in the oven in... More

We were travelling around Ireland for 5 days and the last night we slep in Dingle Gate Hostel. It was a pace place, easly to find it and around the countryside. We had an space room with a bathroom, everthing cleaned and good beds. The atmosphere was great and the fireplaces are amazing! Good place!

A good friendly place to stay in a great location. Quiet and surrounded by countryside. The owner, Brian, was very helpful and gave good advice about the local spots and how to spend your time in the area. We stayed for the weekend and despite there being quite a few other people around it was quiet and pretty clean. Our... More

My friends and I had a wonderful two-night stay in the hostel. It was a bit further from Dingle (about a 20 minute drive) than I had originally anticipated, but Brian was extremely helpful and drove us in to town one morning. This was my first stay in a hostel and I hope that any future hostels are half as... More
