All the other reviews said it all! We stayed 3 nights and had the same experience everyone else seems to have had--clean, quite, comfortable, lovely walk to town, great host, food was good, and the bed was very comfortable. Kenmare is lovely with friendly people, great restaurants and nice shops. We enjoyed our stay and would choose Driftwood again.

We spent two nights at the Driftwood B&B in Kenmare, Ireland. Everything was immaculate, the room very comfortable, and the breakfast superb. Peter and Mignonne Wilson were delightful hosts and gave us excellent travel tips. It was a pleasant walk to the downtown with its many restaurants and shops. It was truly a 4-star experience!

A Lovely B&B with great hosts. We felt very welcome, the room and the breakfast was great and we got very useful suggestions what to do around Kenmare. Thanks to the suggestions we did a lovely trip to gleninchaquin park and had a wonderful day on the ring of beare.

We stayed in the driftwood inn on a 3 night stay and absolutely loved it. The place was immaculately clean, quiet and peacefull. Peter was the owner and ensured we had a perfect stay. Peter cooked a very good breakfast and allowed us space to chat with our friends. overall a lovely stay.

One of the best trips of my life! One week in ireland . Small tour on a bus with about 14 other people. Off the beaten path. We were passing the tour buses in the other direction. Kevin the tourguide was awesome. He knew where to go and when. People, sites, country, food, stout and music were beautiful! Highly recommended!

Kenmare was our starting point for the Ring of Kerry the next day. We stayed at Driftwood with Peter and Mignonne for one night and we didn't get to spend too much time in the B&B. Overall, I rated it excellent because it really fit our needs and the price was outstanding. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.... More

Lovely B&B - Modern - light - airy! Spotless! We hadn't realized our room would be a self catering studio style apartment with all the amenities or we would probably have booked longer up front. Has large refrig; full stove with oven; dishes; silverware; pots pans etc. SuperVal grocery is in town and this allowed us to prepare an evening... More

My mother and I were traveling around Ireland for 17 days and booked at the Driftwood for 2 nights. We really wish we would have stayed here longer and made additional days trips. The house is spotless! Peter and Mignonne are fantastic, friendly and as hands on or off as you like. We stayed in the lower studio which had... More

We showed up in Kenmare without reservations and were fortunate enough to book here with the help of the tourist information office. While the property is a bit of a walk to town, the house, furnishings, and food were all excellent. Peter and his wife were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful place to stay and just a short walk to the town itself which is one of those places you would love to live in. My friend and I were staying for four days so were fortunate enough to have the apartment which was self contained and such a bonus. It was all wonderful. Everything was beautifully done... More
