Rose Garden is a reasonably price B&B and the rooms are standard if a little basic. However the breakfast is amazing. Some of the best bread I've ever eaten and amazing French pastries. The breakfast cook is very talented. The owners were very friendly and welcoming I would definitely recommend staying there.

What a great welcome - a table laden with goodies and a great cup of hot chocolate. Relaxing and charming. A good night's sleep and a great breakfast to set us up for the day. What more could one want?

The Rose Garden is a super B&B in Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland. It's well located; a 5 minute walk to the center of Kenmare. It's clean, comfortable, with good beds and delicious breakfasts. Best of all are the warmth and kindness of the hosts Jerome and Vladamira. Jerome, who is a French native, also bakes great French bread, cakes and... More

We ate a lovely Breakfast here on our last morning in Kenmare and what a feast, enough to nourish us Northerns all the way home. Portions are extremely generious on the cooked breakfast selection and would do two. The pride of all were the bakery items all displayed as you enter, Croissants that are so light and buttery without the... More

Unlike other reviewers, we were disappointed with this B&B. The bathroom should have been cleaner. Our bed sheets were worn threadbare. The pastries were excellent, though.

This B&B is right on the Ring of Kerry. A 5-10 minute walk to the heart of Kenmare via a lighted path. The owner is a pastry chef so be sure to try some. These are not included in the rate but well worth it. Be sure to try the lemon tart - excellent. Very helpful with suggestions for pubs... More

We were booked into this B&B by a friend who lives closeby, and as a gay couple I am dubious about B&Bs and dealing with some people predjudises who own them. I prefer to stay in Hotels. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and Although the owner questioned the double bed booking, it was... More

Great hospitality and very nice people. Tidy place. The breakfast is a high point! If you're traveling as a couple, have one person choose the Irish breakfast and the other pastries. Close walk to town.

Our stay at Rose Cottage couldn't have been nicer. The rooms are comfortable, with roomy and modern bathrooms en suite. The real highlight of the stay, though, is the food produced in the in-home cafe and bakery. The owner, trained as a French chef, bakes delicious cakes, tarts, breads, and pastries of all sorts daily. The place is clean; the... More

Chose to stay here based on other reviews we had read. Good proximity to the town and pretty from the outside. Inside, the decor was dated and lacked the personal touch that other B&Bs we have stayed in offered. The owner was pleasant but quite reserved and not much chat! Rooms offered the basics and were clean. We had been... More
