Very helpful and friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us; good advice about cabs etc in the area as we were there for a wedding. Cracking full English breakfast, situated very centrally, right by the twice-weekly market. Recommended.

Bit soulless when I arrived, about 4 people in bar. Room was fine, small and fairly basic but worth the £55 I paid with breakfast. I was a bit concerned that food was not being served but there was a Pizza Express opposite. Breakfast was good.

I highly recommend the Black Boy in Sudbury. Very friendly and they really look after you. A recent refurbishment has created super en-suite rooms. An excellent full English breakfast is the icing on the cake.

Stayed in one of the recently refurbished rooms which was ok and the bathroom was roomy and clean. The bedroom however was minute. Just celebrated my Dads 80th birthday with Sunday lunch at Black Boy. A party of 17 of us including 2 toddlers. Great food and Great service. Very tolerant of our sometimes tired and rumbustious youngsters. Would definitely recommend. Thankyou to all involved.
