Warm, comfortable, private accommodation. Excellent quality continental breakfast supplies, plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and milk. Lovely big comfy bed and left to our own devices once we'd been given keys and information. Sudbury itself a pleasant market town and Long Melford worth a visit too. We had an excellent Chinese takeaway from almost across the road whilst... More

We stayed here for two nights as we were here for a Wedding Celebration Weekend. We had both rooms in the house which were very comfortable - lovely large beds tea and coffee facilities. My daughter and her family stayed in the cabin which was ideal as they have a young son so didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone.... More

I have stayed here twice now and enjoyed both visits. Being alone I have not needed the Cabin, instead staying in the main house. The Garden Room is my favourite and offers a great view of the wonderful garden. Room is en-suite and very comfortable. Judith & Malcom go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay in... More

A friend and myself were cycling in Suffolk for three days and The Cabin was just a perfect place for us to stay the night...cosy and attractive set in a lovely garden. The breakfast that was left in the fridge was just right...home made bread by Malcolm was delicious. Lovely to have a sofa and television after a day on... More

We stayed for 4 nights in The Garden Room which has en-suite, superking-sized bed, tv & tea making facilities, not to mention a great view of a beautiful garden (hence the name of the room!). On arrival Malcolm & Judith greeted us warmly & we felt very welcome. There were people staying in The Cabin which we could see from... More

Stayed in the Meadow room and loved the uninterupted view of the spectacular water meadows from the massive bay window. You could almost imagine you were in a Constable painting. Our hosts provided us with a hearty breakfast which consisted of homemade jams, freshly baked bread and freshly picked fruit. This was a small part of the selection which was... More

We stayed in The Cabin for two nights on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It is a lovely cabin, beautifully decorated, everything is new and in good condition, there is plenty of space, it is private and set in the lovely gardens behind the owner's main house so it is very quiet. There is plenty of parking available. The owners... More

There are many good reasons to visit Sudbury, a delightful Suffolk town with a remarkable history. As well as being the birthplace of the great artist Thomas Gainsborough, it also houses the head of a 14th century archbishop of Canterbury, has a wonderful little theatre, a wealth of ancient, photogenic buildings, a vibrant market and shopping centre and the River... We stayed at 'The Cabin' last weekend Friday 8th - Sunday 10th July 2011. The name 'The Cabin' is a little misleading as I was expecting just that and not the large house that we arrived at located off the main road. The name comes from the chalet type building located in the large garden of the property which provides... More
