A group of 12 of us stayed for 2 nights, had a very good reception on arrival by the friendly staff. The accomodation was very comfortable & spotlessly clean, The food was excellent. We spent 3 nights here over Easter and had a lovely relaxing time. The staff were very friendly and the accommodation comfortable. The meals were good though the portions were huge! Despite the unpromising weather forecast we managed a couple of lovely long walks without getting soaked, so earned our meals. More

Stayed for two nights. Brilliant food and warm welcome. Breakfast was huge and tasty. Went for an evening walk up the hill behind the pub which was fab with loads of grouse, rabbits and a mountain hare. Would definately recommend a visit. More

A nice, large piece of haddock was spoiled by over-thick batter and rock hard, overcooked frozen chips. Disappointing for the relatively high price paid - I would at least expect real potatoes. Is it that difficult to make chips? More

We have stayed at the ladybower twice and have loved it each time. The food is amazing, rooms lovely and clean with nice touches such as biscuits... Perfect for after a long walk!
