Stayed two nights here. Warm and friendly and well placed for discovering the Peak District. Only minutes form Bakewell. The fresh milk in delightful jugs a real bonus! Wonderful pottery too ! All in all a great stay.

We stayed over New Years, and had a lovely stary. The owners were very welcoming and attentive. Lovely house, well funished, well kept, and good size room. And such a short walk to town made it a fantastic place to stay to explore the area. Amazing value for money, would definately recommend.

A good size room and bathroom (with bath). I don't think every room has a bath, so check that if it's important to you (and after a long day's walking a bath is a bonus). We stayed there for two nights recently as a base for meeting family at Chatsworth House. Madeline and Louis were great hosts. Room very welcoming including full bookcase.
