Ideally placed for a visit to Bath, but out of the way with beautiful views across rolling countryside. Hotel staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are enormous and ours included a four poster bed, sofa, arm chair, chaise longue, table and chairs, TV, and a real fire! The decor is a little... More

My girlfriend and I wanted to spend a weekend somewhere relaxing and quiet, with the option of local attractions. We chose Bath because it's a beautiful City and fairly central to Bristol, Wales, and the South West. We liked the look of Rudloe Hall on the internet but I have to say the website probably didn't do it full justice.... More

Stayed for one night in Jan after our trip into Bath. What a find. We stayed in the house on the top floor overlooking the valley with superb views. The four poster bed was very comfortable & the room had many quirky aspects which added to the experience. The staff were all very helpful & friendly. Breakfast was exceptional &... More

We stayed here because we wanted a place outside of Bath and were very happy with this choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room a nice size. We requested a cot for our 9 month old and there was one waiting for us in the room upon arrival. The breakfast was very... More

Booked a room for two nights at a very discounted rate on LateRooms, and thought it was excellent value for money. We stayed in an 'executive double' in the new building, and the room (or rather, suite) was spacious, comfortable, and consisted of a large bedroom with sofa, small flatscreen TV, a side area with desk and cupboard, and a... I stayed at Rudloe Hall again on Monday 9th January for a second time and it was again an extremely enjoyable, comfortable and pleasant stay. I was staying in the 'treetops' complex which again was invredibly useful for business purposes as it has a free adsl connection to the internet and a very useful workspace. Dinner in the restaurant was... More

Thr first enchanted experience is the smell that greets you when you walk in the front door. It's the smell of a hotel that been neglected for thirty years. The carpets are thread bare the furnishings tired, then the reception doesn't boast a pencil to fill in the xerox form you are asked to fill in with your details, in... More

went to Rudloe Hall with my girlfriend in early December.Read other reviews which advised to stay in the annexe until the refurb was completed. This was good advise, annexe is a minute walk away, well equipped and comfortable. On walking through to the restaurant we were stopped and asked into the bar, by the young chap who works there, he... More

The staff were wonderfully accommodating and the food was exceptional too, the breakfast I had this morning was one of the best ever. I can appreciate that the hotel is due for a re-furb but the four poster room my partner and I had booked wasn't especially spacious or spotless and had rather alot of flies in it. We were... More
