Where to start. Ice cold room with curtains that did not fit the window. Very scruffy decoration and tatty carpet. Holes in the duvet cover. Plug missing in bath. Unable to get the shower to deliver anything more than lukewarm water. Noisy location. Expensive. On the plus side the breakfast was good. More

Stayed in room 1. Lovely room and very comfy - if a little squeaky - bed. Bathroom a bit shabby and tired though. The rooms are looking in need of TLC. Our bathroom had paint peeling off the walls but was otherwise a lovely room. Having said that the location is superb, the atmosphere in the public rooms is good and the English breakfast is one of the best we have had. we would still stay here again. More

recently visited this hotel with my partner, we both really enjoyed ourselfs and found the who place very relaxing, we have returned to Scotland with batteries recharged and ready to start the Christmas shopping :) More
