The food here has improved of late and is decent pub grub. The staff are friendly. It could be a great place for lunch or evening meal but all the brewery are interested in are young people who drink alcohol on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night until they can't stand up. The décor of the pub although dated can be... More

Stayed one night. Carpets hadn't been cleaned, grubby cup and glass in the room, dusty bedside cabinet, bed and mattress old, grubby and uncomfortable. couldn't face the bath. Not recommended. More

Stayed here for one night with my wife and two children, using it as a base for visiting Bath. This worked quite well - it was about 20-25 minutes drive from the nearest Park & Ride carpark, and we had a nice couple of days looking around the city. The welcome was warm and the service at breakfast the next... More

We stayed for one night, two adults and two children so we stayed in the family room, it was huge. One of the single beds was a blow up bed though. The only thing that let's this inn down is the decor, it really needs doing. There were loose floor boards outside the bedroom door and the bathroom wasn't over... More

We went for lunch and the food can only be described as absolutely delicious and very well presented. The orange and lemon pudding is to die for. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The price £25 for mains, plus puds, plus pot of tea for two, extremely good value. The only thing that lets it all down is the... More

I booked a single room for my son and a double for myself. When we arrived (late at night) we were given the keys and left to find our rooms. Mine turned out to be a single instead of the double I had booked and paid for. As it was so late and the pub was incredibly busy, I didn't... More
