We booked this place rather last minute based on the excellent reviews from previous visitors. We certainly weren't disappointed. Olive and the rest of the family couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and we had a very enjoyable time there. We were on our honey moon and a bottle of wine and congratulations card were waiting for us... More

During our two week trip to Ireland we stayed in 5 B&Bs and 3 self-catering and by far Cullentra House was the most welcoming, cleanest and had an outstanding breakfast. James and Olive, our hosts, cound not have been more hospitable, with our tea and coffee with cookies on arrival to making reservations for us at their local Golf Club... More

We followed a Lonely Planet recommendation and were overwhelmed. We wanted to stay 2 nights in a twin room. However, for the first night Olive only had a double room but offered a twin room for the second night. The double room was modern in black and white decor, tiled floor, modern bathroom, clean, comfortable bed, but was a bit... More

Afraid I am in the Dog House because I only booked into Cullentra House with Olive and James for one night instead of extending our stay, because we were short of days on this trip. There were 4 of us this time, 3 relatives from Manila and myself from London. We arrived late in the afternoon and were welcomed by... More

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Cullentra House. I had researched villages and B&B's beforehand and was delighted to have found this one. However, it surpassed all of my expectations. The house has been recently refurbished to a very high standard and was immaculate. The welcome was very much appreciated as was the offer of a... More

Fantastic location, welcome, sleeep, shower and breakfast. What more could you want ? An excellent dinner recommendation to the local golf club as well where the meal was brilliant value for money.

This was a lovely B&B, and the family was just wonderful. Very friendly and helpful as to where to eat. We would stay here again. Even though James and Olive had some health issues at the moment, out stay could not have been any nicer. And their daughters were a delight.

Thank you olive, James and family for inviting us into your house. The warmest welcome we have ever received at any hotel or b&b. Breakfast, decor, welcome was excellent. The family brought us to and from the village. We even received Irish stew on st.patricks day. Couldn't recommend it more. Thank you Andrea, Elaine & Gerard Belfast xxx

We all enjoyed our stay in this lovely b&b. As it was freezing out at the end of January, we were greeted by a warm and cosy front room beside the fireplace and home made cakes and tea which was so relaxing. The view from the front room is stunning! Our rooms were warm and nicely decorated. Beds are of... More
