Only used the pub part of the establishment. But a pub full of character. With reasonably priced food and seemed to be well used by the locals, which is always a good sign. Just a short walk from the railway station with its excellent links to Belfast.

Called in today for lunch. Great selection and service superb. Food freshly prepared, tasty and great value. Staff are helpful,friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Would I return?? Yes, without a doubt. Few other pubs/restaurants in Carrickfergus could learn a few lessons from here.

Some years before we had honeymooned at Dobbins Inn in Carrickfergus and had over the years thought about returning. i stayed in Dobbins at the end of last year on the last few nights of my holiday across in Northern Ireland and i can say that out of the places i stayed Dobbins had the most friendly staff and best food hands down!! i'd like to tthank all the staff for this and hope to stay again this year.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in February with my wife and two kids. Very friendly staff, rooms are of a good size and spotless. Food was of excellent quality and good portions. Highly recommended and we will definately be coming back, maybe when the weather is a bit warmer!

Once again another lovely meal, we were with my parents this time who both enjoyed their meals, they also commented on how friendly and helpful the staff were. My husband had the Mexican burger and has not stopped talking about it, and hopes it goes on the new menu.
