Friendly staff, lovely food. Historical building. What more can you want? The staff in Dobbins are so friendly. Totally agree with all the good comments below, stayed for my wifes birthday, had a night out in Carrickfergus and we couldn't have been looked after any better by the staff of Dobbins, every single one of them was great.

Stayed at Dobbins in May 2011 and had a great time. Staff were all exceptional and very helpful. Accommodations were very comfortable and the restaurant's food was fantastic. The building was incredible and the area steeped in so much history. We felt quite at home in Carrickfergus and I would go back again in a heartbeat!

Me and my boyfriend went to Dobbins as we had a Goupon voucher and was really delighted with the service and the room had double glazing and really warm which was great. The dinner was nice apart from the pepper sauce being burnt. Really enjoyed our stay and would come back to try the steaks.
