We stayed at the b&b recently and were really looking forward to it. Such a shame that the owner was rude and created an unwelcoming atmosphere, arrogant and unhelpful. We complained about Room 2 which overlooks a wall and has bad damp. The owners did not recognise the problem, offered no reduction in price (we had to pay on arrival)... more

If you are looking for a hotel with lovely owners then look no further! This hotel is like your ideal home and there is not one better for a number of miles. Only 5 minutes walk into the centre of Skipton. I have booked to return again in August and September.... The best B&B I have ever stayed in! more

Couldn't fault the Chinthurst in general. We had a gorgeous room, very clean and comfortable although the mattress had a dip in it and the pillows were far too soft and squishy for our liking but thats just a personal thing.
