This b&b is located in a beautiful part of the countryside south of Hexham and provides a delightful place to stay. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble to make one's stay comfortable. The ensuite bedroom was very comfortable and spacious and guests also have use of a large and graciously furnished sitting room... Our weekend stay at Black Hall was wonderful. It is slightly off the beaten track and offers a great place to relax in the beautiful surrounds of the countryside. The rooms had just been refurbished and were exceptionally clean and airy. Dicken and Rose could not have been more accommodating and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was delicious.....this really... More

Recent stay at this B&B was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who go out of their way to ensure that guests have a great time. A lovely friendly welcome and nice touches like the open fire which was lit each morning added to the experience. Breakfasts were excellent and it is obvious that the owners think... More

The room was amazing, breakfast was superb and the hosts were so helpful! We are taking a trip to Scotland and... More

From the moment we rang to find out if there were any available rooms at the last minute, as we have been, to the time we arrived, got such a feeling of warmth and friendliness from Rosie and Dicken that I have to say its been the best so far. The Rooms are well appointed, the bed extra comfortable and... More

We've just spent a weekend at Blackhall, we felt priviledged to be their first guests. The house is incredible, set in amazing grounds, where we spent an afternoon on the terrace enjoying the view of the Shire. The rooms and beds were very comfy, clean, massive windows with views on to the gardens and rambling country side. Breakfast was a... More
