Looking for a cheap hotel near to the forest of Dean mountain biking trails and found this place, great staff and service, good beer and food all for a good price. Nice simple honest place. WIFI did not connect with IPad, but a minor thing.

We had a lovely stay in the family room (2+2). The staff were very friendly, breakfast was good. We had dinner one night and the food was good and reasonably priced. There could have been more choice for vegetarians. It's only a few minutes drive to the Forest of Dean. We would stay again for a weekend.
