This is a gem of an establishment in an absolutely beautiful location. Our room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. We got a lovely welcome from Emma and we were very well looked after. Would love to return and spend longer at this location More

Had a great three night stay at this lovely chambres d'hotes at the end of May, staying in an attractive room with good breakfasts taken in the stylish dining room. The house is set in a quiet road a few minutes walk from the coast and is walking distance into St Palais for easy dining. There's lots of pleasant outside... More

My wife and I stayed in MMdM during easter break for 4 nights. Our hosts Emma and Philip were great. House is beautiful with its decoration, paintings. Room was very comfortable and nights were quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning with very good coffee. The house was very close to Platin Beach where we enjoyed the April sunshine. Emma... I have just returned from a 4 night stay at Ma Maison de Mer with some family members and would not hesitate in recommending this as a very comfortable, peaceful and stylish place to stay in St Palais sur Mer. The house itself is calm, beautifully decorated in beach house style and has a lovely quiet garden for relaxing in... More

We arrived and were made to feel at home straight away, witha nice cup of tea! The room was spacious , bright and very clean, with amazing art work by Emma. Its about a 5 min walk to the beach and Emma and Phil can give you plenty of cycle paths to follow, we cycled for miles and miles. Every... More

Stayed recently for the one night at Ma Maison De Mer and we were made to feel very welcome and totally understand why Emma and Phillip get such good reviews. It seems nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast plentiful and well presented. No hesitation in recommending to others. More

It's not possible to add much to all the good stuff that's already been written about Ma Maison de Mer ... it's a special place run by a couple who have a genuine enthusiasm for what they offer. I've never been made to feel more welcome at a B&B or hotel. We're at MMdM at the moment and have just... More

The general appearance of hotel is lovely but for the price a lot of things are lacking. Electric heaters, bathroom which needed total renovation and the hardest towels I have ever experienced in a hotel. The portion control of butter was a disgrace - 1 small wrapped butter each ! Although we were given more when we asked. The couple... More

Perfectly situated with a short walk to the beach and town of St Palais. the house exceeded our expectations with top class, tasteful furnishings with extra special touches that made the holiday experience very special. The area offers spectacular beaches and a pretty town with a variety of shops and restaurants. Can recommend Chez Bob, Chez Lolo and Nausicaa for... More

This is a somewhat overdue - sorry - but we thought it was still worth putting in our two pennorth to recommend this lovely little b and b in St Palais sur Mer. It's run by an English couple. which would normally be a no-no for us, but they were so much part of the French way of life that... More
