It gets a mark of one just for location and the fact it was clean. Located just of the A4 it is a suitable stop over but there are lots more of similar and no doubt better places to stay. It was difficult to find the hotel but once we were there it was convenient as a place to stay for a one night stopover on the way to Italy from the UK. It is on the edge of town near the motorway in a retail park - not at all picturesque. We chose this hotel because it was cheap.... More

The title says it all really. Great place for a late in, one night stop over when you need to rest your head on a long trip to somewhere else. Very little to moan about other than the cigarette burns in the bed clothes! Close to the centre of Reims, but more than a walk. Breakfast was ok, but overpriced.

Positives: Clean room, shower cubicle closed properly, good water pressure, 24 h reception, nice, efficient staff, free parking. Negatives: Ridiculously small room, no bedside tables, sheets were clean but showed obvious signs of wear and tear, tiny impractical wardrobe (2 of us for 3 nights our 2 big winter coats almost filled it), tiny shower cubicle. Basic, very small but cheap but the Basil Fawlty manager ruined the trip with his welcome and treatment of us. We arrived fairly late and walked in and then his tirade started. If you are heading to Swiss borders or Strasbourg then a useful stopping point but there are about 4 others within 100 yards that looked better.

This hotel was good value for money for an overnight stopover whilst on route to the Alps. The room and bathroom were very small but adequate and clean.
