If you want peace and quiet, fantastic hospitality and food then head for Brynarth. Cathy and Ian have managed to strike the perfect balance between hosting your stay and remaining unobtrusive. They are there to welcome you with tea and welsh cakes, show you to your rooms, serve food and drinks in the lounge. They are both very knowledgeable about... More

Visiting friends nearby, the welcome was very warm for myself and little girl. Room was beautifully clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for Ian and Cathy. A lovely breakfast in the morning after a very peaceful night. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We have stayed at Brynarth several times now since our son first became a student at nearby Aberystwyth University and the welcome is still as warm as ever. Ian and Cathy are perfect hosts and offer a very comfortable stay together with beautiful surroundings and excellent hospitality. Nothing is too much trouble. Perfect for anyone visiting Aberystwyth or the surrounding... More

Did not meet Ian who was away, but Cathy was a great hostess, greeting us with a cuppa and Welsh cakes, and very kindly cooked us an evening meal as we had a late arrival, and were concerned about finding our way back after dark (quite a remote area) if we went out to eat. The sitting room is utterly... More

We booked in for 12 guests, all of which have enjoyed B&B across Wales for many years. As a walking party on a three day gallivant the accommodation is critical to the wider experience. Brynarth provided us with the perfect stay. Upon arrival after a 13 mile trek, Ian and Cathy greeted us with a warm welcome, with pots of... More

Brynarth Country Guest House is a great place to stay in an incredibly beautiful location. Ian and Cathy are perfect hosts, both the main house and the converted barn are extremely comfortable, and breakfast is delicious. All in all, Brynarth offers a comfortable, relaxing B&B experience with outstanding value for money.
