I stayed one night in Casino 2000. From the outside the hotel/are looks a bit dodgy. A large not well maintained parking lot, and the building itself is heavily under construction. The entrance is huge, and does not feel like entering a hotel.. The focus is clearly on the casino.

Although above a casino, this is a great option if you are staying in Mondorf. Friends all stayed at the Parc Hotel but I think I was the winner, with a huge room, friendliest staff ever and fantastic breakfast. I booked in advance so got a good deal and I have been feeling smug ever since. A nice surprise.

This was a weekend trip and our first visit to Luxembourg.
Surprisingly easy to get to, we travelled by bus 16 from Luxembourg airport and changed at Central station for bus 175 to Mondorf-les-Bains. Total journey time was 50 minutes.
