Gwaenynog is a beautiful farm in a quiet and scenic location, about 1mile from River Vyrnwy. Surrounded by 16 acres of land - a mixture of fields, woods and wetland; there’s a lot of wildlife and flora, plus a variety of birds, including Peregrines and our resident Tawny Owl. You will be assured of a warm welcome at our quality bed and breakfast. There are extremely comfortable beds, powerful showers, sumptuous and generous towels, fragrant shower gels and shampoos, a choice of teas and coffee in all the rooms with fresh milk, flat screen TV’s with Freeview & DVD players, and if you must, free wifi; all with varying views from every window. Take tea and homemade cake or biscuits after your journey to help you unwind. “Wish we'd found Gwaenynog sooner!”

We stayed for three nights, filling in gaps to complete Glyndwr's Way. The farmhouse is in peaceful hilly countryside - lots of attractive little lanes - and Fiona provided every comfort and consideration to make it a most enjoyable stay. Of our 12 B&B's along Glyndwr's Way, this is our No 1. We'll be back!

“Heavenly stay”

We stayed one night. Fantastic little room. Fiona had thought of everything right down to the little pot of sweets.The location is rural, but very quaint.I loved the dogs. The choice of breakfast was amazing it felt like a 5 star boutique B&B. Thank you Fiona for being such a friendly and caring host.

“Excellent accomodation and very friendly hosts”

This is quite a hidden gem and excellent accomodation and very friendly and helpfull hosts, not so easy to find beacause very remote but very nice location, but so nice and, really very calm and quiet, also very good breakfast with a lot of options to choose from.

“The Best”

“Excellent B & B”

This was a fantastic location for road cycling with quiet hilly lanes, uncover storage for bikes etc. Hosts were very friendly and helpful even getting up early to prepare a 6:30 breakfast. House spotless yet comfortable. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

“Piece and quiet in Wales”

“beautiful farmhouse”

This farmhouse was superb, a fantastic location, peaceful, quiet, great for birdlife .One of the best breakfasts i've had for a long time.The hosts could not do enough for us, thoroughly enjoyed it and would definately go for another visit
