We spent 2 nights in The Talbot Earlier this month as we were attending a function close by . There was a pleasant welcome, but our room was very small,more suited as a single, only one bedside locker and little room to move around. Bathroom on the other hand was quite large. A great pub with great food. The owners and staff are hospitable and welcoming and the room we stayed in was large, comfortable and absolutely spotless. The food in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced and made with local fresh produce. But best of all was the breakfast - the best English breakfast I have ever had! More
