I adore this house. We had stayed before and totally fell in love with it. Liz is a very beautiful Lady and is the perfect host and her breakfasts are to die for. We stayed in Rosslyn this time and had stayed in Molly's chamber and The Captains room before. There is a Pancake house next door and their Anglesey... More

Not long returned home from a wonderful break away to North Wales, made special by Glyn Is Country House. Very well looked after and spectacularly presented, Glyn Isa Country House is perfect for a well deserved relaxing break. Owner Liz is very welcoming and friendly and went out of her way to make sure we made the most of our... More

We booked in at the Glyn Isa for one night as we fancied a night away and decided to visit nearby Conwy. We wanted something a little off the beaten track and this hotel really is, but its not difficult to find as long as you take the time to get a map/directions. Lovely welcome when we arrived and we... More

Over 3 nights, Glyn Isa offered us perfect accommodation and a perfect location. The house is beautifully furnished to match the period of the property and provided us with a relaxing and homely atmosphere. Elizabeth provided excellent hospitality and provided good advice on the local activities and facilities. The breakfast was very good and substantial. In the area we completed the... More

Glyn Isa could be described as a lovely B&B - Full of antiques, lovely decor and really peaceful. The hosts were nice people, very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast the next day was excellent. However on our visit, our room was not cleaned properly. The television and area surrounding it was thick with dust. Also next to the bed, the... More

A wonderful place for a romantic break. The hostess was very attentive though discreet, making us feel more like house guests. The room was as in the website photo, charming and cosy without being twee. The breakfasts were tasty and freshly cooked, room cleanliness was of a high standard contributing to make the stay delightful. We booked late and we had only one room available, Dollys Chamber but this proved to be a room full of real olde world charm. The hosts Liz and Darren are fantastic and you do not feel like paying guests but more like friends. Breakfast is good albeit at 08.30 it may not suit those looking for an early getaway.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights while touring North Wales last week. The house is beautiful and is full of so much character from another age. The location is perfect, being just outside of the city of Conwy in the middle of the countryside. It's extremely quiet and peaceful, set back from the street. The owners, Elizabeth and Darren couldn't... More

A truly fantastic B&B with lots of charm and character, it is perfectly located for the nearby attractions of Bodnant Gardens, Conwy and Betws Y Coed. We had the pleasure of staying one night in the tastefully decorated Bronte Room, with its comfortable 4 poster bed and en-suite shower room. Our host, Liz was really helpful and accommodating and made... More

Liz and Darren are the perfect hosts, nothing is to much trouble for them, always with a smile, they make your stay unforgetable. They have a fabulous home in a beautiful part of the country. Very convenient for National Trust properties and general tourist attractions and of course, excellent walking country. More
