Had a lovely over night stay to celebrate my husbands birthday, we were made to feel very welcome. The house, room, bed linen, towels, grounds, breakfast were all lovely. Two lovely dogs running in the grounds ran to greet us then left us alone. Would we return most definately. Thank you Julie for. letting us share your wonderful home

Wedding party weekend. Three great days in May 13 staying at Sheepy Lodge for a family wedding. We booked out all the rooms. We were very well looked after by Julie and were made to feel completely at home. Fantastic cooked breakfast with homemade sausages from Julie's pigs. Would highly recommend this amazing B & B.

We stayed here one night as a stop over with our two young children. The house is beautiful. Julie made us feel very welcome and wanted us to make use of the guest areas; huge lounge and dinning room, which Julie had suggested we use for our pre-prepared picnic. We ate on the patio area around the outdoor pool, making... More

We used this as our base to visit Twycross zoo. The good points were as follows: - An excellent host. - A gorgeous house. - An excellent breakfast. - Spacious clean room. - A very relaxed atmosphere. - Lovely dogs - Ben and Sweep! - Our children loved the hotel! - A small play area in the huge gardens for... Our recent visit was for two nights whilst we were on business at the N E C .It was the most comfortable place we have stayed in, which was a real bonus after a hard day walking the halls of N E C. We were in the Sir Walter Raleigh room ,which was delightful, with antique furniture and a bathroom... More

We stayed for one night and left wishing that we could move in! The building and grounds are beautiful. The room we had was clean, comfortable and a very high standard. The bathroom was also lovely. The guest living room was also very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We felt at home in minutes. The breakfast the following morning was freshly... More

We stayed here after reading other reviews on Tripadvisor. It was conveniently located for an 80th birthday party. We arrived early and were made very welcome by Julie and her two lovely dogs. We stayed in the Marco Polo room and it was very well appointed and our bed extremely comfortable. Cosy bath robes were provided. There was a lovely... More

Wow what can I say. What a wonderfull place. Just amazing, I only stayed 2 days but the rooms were spotless and excellently priced, the owner was very welcoming. The grounds were amazing even in winter. This was a fantastic all round location.

We arrived at the b&b quite late and it was dark outside and quite easily missed from the main rd. So I called the lodge and the very lovely lady said she would wait on the main rd for us and guide us in! When we finally got inside the lady (Julie's friend whose name I have unfortunately forgotten) showed... More

We were absolutely delighted with this outstanding B&B which we stayed at 3 nights ago. We joined friends of ours and between us had 3 children under 5. Julie was very welcoming and immediately put us at ease about having these young children in such a grand property. The rooms are large, decorated to a high spec and spacious with... More
