Bedrooms have been nicely decorated and individually themed, but there’s a “but”! Despite being refurbished less than a year ago, areas are already looking scruffy. Scuff marks on the walls/doors, handles not fitted properly and exposed cables sticking out of the walls. Blocked basin, that clearly wasn’t a recent problem and the shower was cold. Went there today for lunch with some friends. Went to the bar and asked for 2 pints of beer and 2 of cider. The taps dribbled and stopped and no one there could change the barrels. So we left. The Manor has been delightfully refurbished with great attention to detail. Superb decor and very comfortable but can't comment on the bedrooms as have only eaten there. This was our fourth or fifth visit to eat at The Manor. Unfortunately on this visit for a birthday treat the service was dire! Hardly any customers and the service was very slow.... More

Very nice one night stay. Very comfortable bed with great shower room. Dinner was very well presented as was breakfast. Well kept beer and friendly staff. A lovely country pub feel to it. Would recommend, especially at the price.

Everything in the room that you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Excellent menu and good food served by friendly staff. Stayed one night on business and highly recomended if you are fed up with impersonal hotels with poor service and fake smile.....try this place.
