We recently spent four days exploring the Brecon Canal, our second two days was spent here at Trericket Mill. Everything about this place was the way I like it, starting with the stunning building complete with all the original mill machinery. Then Alastair and Nicky made us feel very welcome yet gave us all the space we desired. The breakfasts... More

Alastair and Nicky run an attractive relaxed friendly establishment with real expertise. On top of that you get an interesting historic building in a beautiful area with lovely food. There is bike storage, walks from the door and a babbling stream alongside.

Trericket Mill has to be our favourite treat. The Mill itself is beautiful, the owners are really friendly and welcoming, the Mill itself is simply beautiful and the rooms are spotless. The food is fantastic. I can't praise this place enough. We hope to come back soon, thank you Nicky and Alistair :-)

We have been twice now and will be going again when we can. It is a beautiful building, the rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The food is plentiful and of high standard. We are vegans and were very well looked after.

The food here is fantastic - we felt as if we were vegetarian kings stopping off en route to the palace - such was the service. We liked the mill too, with its open fires and softly lit rooms, owner's memorabilia and mill ornaments, we warmed up after an envigorating walk with trivial pursuit and very soft armchair. The bedroom... More

Try and come annually. great hosts, always welcome and accommodating (to my 10 minute boiled egg requierments) and flexible when I requested a mix of accommodation for friends with kids. great for solo travellers also, never feel alone. Great chill out space. good location for walking, exploring and brecon. Recommend without hestiation and unique in being vegetarian. Long live Tre-ricket!... More

We spent three nights here in early October and were delighted by the hospitality. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Nikki and Alistair. The Mill Room was lovely, with a small balcony (usage dependent on weather!) and everything we required was provided. Meeting the ducks and chickens was a bonus. Now for the food... we are both vegan... More

My partner and I, and our 2 Jack Russell Terriers, stayed in the self-catering River Cabin at the end of September for 5 days and had an a really excellent time. Whilst the cabin isn't huge it does have enough room to do everything you'll need to do, and the kitchen area was particularly well equipped. We loved sitting in... More

We had a truly magical weekend here with 3 adults and 3 children aged from 5-11 in a tent and a Bongo campervan. There are not many places where you're able to have a proper campfire in such a lovely setting. Nestled under a couple of apple trees we had the kind of camping experience that you think only exists... More
