This is the worst place Ihave stayed. Service bad, room not cleaned, no internet, If this is 4 stars in freemantle glad i didnt stay at a 2 star. Priced at a 4 star with the amenities of a 2 star. I could not move as I prepaid and was teaching 10 hour days. Very dissapointed to say the least

overpriced. Very very noisey. Room too hot. no fresh air. Rooms were a good size but very dowdy. When we booked out receptionist didnt even ask how our stay was after five days. Cleaning staff should manage. Very expensive 2 star rating. Photos on website very disceiving. Will never be recommended.

Excellant hotel, fantastic location, just a stroll into freemantle or to the train station for a trip to perth, a lovely walkway just down the hill with seaside cafes close by. Dining fabulous, an all round excellant experience. many thanks Tradewinds.

Having stayed over at the Tradie many times for nights out in the Fremantle area, we were looking for somewhere local for our recent anniversary meal with the family! Easter Monday night, five people, no booking, usual last minute thinking... and we struck gold! The Tradewinds in East Fremantle has a great outdoor meals area, adjacent to the more formal... More

We needed somewhere near Fremantle to stay for one night and chose this hotel as we had passed it many times over the years and it looked old style and a bit different. Traveling towards Perth from Freo it was difficult to access the entrance - needs a directional sign. We weren't expecting five star but were pleasantly surprised with... More

$245 for what is basically a motel room...i was hoping for/expecting better than that for the price. I paid online, but that didn't stop them from trying to charge me again on checkout. I discovered later that my 'beachtastic' summer promotion pack (which i had to ask for twice) was missing the $50 dining voucher that was meant to be... More

Hotel was a lot more dated internally than we expected compared to the views and photos on the website. Our river view room had a view from outside the room on the walkway verandah ~ we were expecting a proper balcony where we could sit and admire the views and this was not the case! The revamped outdoor area is... More

I had stayed there few times. I think they have some deal with few industries and companies. Because haven't seen many holiday makers usually sorounded with the workers. Anyway I think the hotel is not bad. The facilities are all old but just acceptable. Only one thing I really don't like is the access to the room. There are old... More

Like most of Perth hotels it is way expensive for what you get. Rabbit warren out back. 20 minute walk into freo. Pleasant enough. Starting to get a bit tired in places. Smart looking restaurant out front.

The term trade winds originally derives from the early fourteenth century late Middle English word 'trade' meaning "path" or "track." The Tradewinds Hotel however is located on an intersection of two very large & noisy tracks or paths. These days we call them Highways. There is no escape from the roar of traffic, particularly the container cargo trucks en route... More
