This is the second time I have stayed at this Motel, first time I had a very large 2 Bedroom unit with all the facilities including Large Flat Screen TV in main living area and smaller flat screen tv in bedroom. This time I had a very pokey little room and not much room to move in. A bit disappointing... More

Stayed here o'night in April whilst attending a party close by. Handy location, close to Westfield. Room was adequately equipped for o'night stay. Shower could have been a little cleaner. Good service & helpful staff.

The rooms are really boring at this hotel, as is this particular part of Canberra....in general...overall...neither here nor there...the hotel is dull and ...boring. Basically, this hotel is making a killing by housing interstate public servants who are forced to come to the Australian capital at government expense for conferences etc. The proximity to government offices means they can charge... We had a good stay in April. Room was huge with large living area and seperate bedroom with very comfortable King sized bed. Bathroom was large but when we had a shower the water was only warm, not hot. Overall a great place to stay.

Have stayed here numerous times for business purposes and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience with everything I've needed and good service at the Reception desk and Bar. Very handy to Government offices as well as a large number of restaurants on the water, and shops.

Staff meet the uninspiring expectations of "service" in Canberra: gruff responses, simple requests not fulfilled, etc. The rooms are acceptable for a short stay, but cheap. Carpet mats fraying, no spare powerpoints for the tiny underpowered iron, barely any room for the ironing board. Benjamin Way, just outside your window, has traffic noise and lights shining through your window. Main... More

Stayed at the Belconnen Premier Inn while visiting family who live in Belconnen over Christmas 2011. While the 2 bedroom apartment was spacious, modern and clean, it was very boringly decorated, and the kitchen only had very basic utensils. It advertised that it had both Foxtel and daily newspapers but neither were in evidence. As we were only staying for... More

I consider two important attributes of a peaceful hotel stay. Firstly, the shower experience must be over flowing with large gushes of hot steamy water. Secondly, the sleep must be deep and comfortable without waking up in the middle of the night. Belconnen Premier Inn has given me both. And the bonus? It's located within one minute walk to the... Twin bed room shared with a colleague. Room was of adequate size and clean. Bathroom was simple but clean and functional. Front desk helpful with advice and taxi organizing, woke up a bit late 1 morning and did not really have time for breakfast - staff kind enough to give me a "doggy bag" which I popped a couple slices... Have stayed here several times over the last 4-5 years. The last two times were not great, we found a condom wrapper under the bed one time and on the last stay (2 nights in late November in a Board Room Suite) we found the sheets were stained. On complaining to reception we were supplied with new sheets but we... More
