We stopped over in the Rake recently and our experience was fantastic. Mark and his team are polite, professional and very hospitable. The rooms in the Rake are probably the best we have stopped in and Mark's breakfast is total quality. This was are second stay in the Rake and we can't wait for our next visit.

I just stayed here last week. The owner chef is really hospitable with nothing too much trouble . Room was spacious and modern in the context of 16th.century stone building . The extensive tapas menu all prepared freshly by Mark the chef was faultless . I highly recommend this gem in a quiet location good value and comfortable stay
