We stayed here for two night. The location on the peninsula is very good. There is even a small retailer in the town, where you can buy the most important stuff for a nice meal. Restrooms, kitchen were very clean, the host very friendly. There is no luxury on the site, but it is very comfortable and the campervan-sites are... More

We stayed here for one night whilst paying Otago Peninsula/Dunedin a visit. To get to the site from Dunedin it's a bit a drive on windy roads, but the views are worth it. And if you want to stay on the peninsula I believe this place is your only option. When we turned up the guy on the reception was... More

We stayed in January, quite quiet, parked close to the amenities. A range of accommodation from camping, through backpackers to 'units' of various sorts. Kitchens OK but a bit hostel-like, could soon get very full in a busy period. Good clean loos and showers. Quietly situated on the Otago Peninsula, so well-placed for all the attractions there. Village with stores,... More

We wanted to freedom camp on the peninsular, but couldn't find anywhere so stayed here for the night. Friendly check-in, free 30 minutes wi-fi and clean kitchen and toilets. No lounge. The showers were quite poor unless you used the electric shower in the disabled cubicle. It's the only campsite on the peninsular, so it's here or drive back to... More

We were a family of 6 and 2. Booked a 2bdrm unit but its 1st room had a queen and single and the other room had the kitchenette lounge and bench seats that also had to make do as 2 beds no linen. Office person advised this over the ph when enquiring, only agreed as the all blacks n sth... More

I called them and established that my friend and I would be arriving late at night, and that we'd pay in the morning. This information was evidently not communicated to the person working at night (we were told the office would be closed), and we were not received well. We cooked our dinner and upon walking back to our campervan,... More

We paid for a tent site and were sorry we did. For NZ$31 we were disappointed with the facilities. The kitchen was dirty and had a very old container of milk on the counter causing a horrible smell. There were a few old frying pans, but no plates, cutlery, ie. basics. In every other holiday park we've stayed in for... More

Great park Level and reasonable sites close to the Albatross center. Staff are great except for the owner who can be rude

We stayed in the self contained cabin. Had all facilities and although a bit cramped was fine for the 2day stay. We appreciated the separate bedroom (often it's all in together) great for kids especially if you want some me time after they've gone to bed. There are a couple of issues though if you want to cook get all... More
