We stayed here in Aug 2011. The location is fantastic on the main street and few mts. to the lake. The service is excellent. The room are good sized and very clean. If we return to ascona, we would definitely stay again in this hotel. More

Have been planning to write this review since returning from our trip at the end of July. I totally agree with the previous author. This hotel is quaint, location is fabulous and the owners were very helpful. Just back from a super weekend in Ascona. The hotel Pergola was exactly what we needed for 1 night. It is located in the old town and just steps from lake Maggiore and the promenade. We had room 33 (3rd floor with a balcony) and a 180 degrees view of the old town, the lake and the surrounding Ticino mountains.... More
