Actually I was quite lucky because I was given a suite upon arrival. And this suite was spacious, clean, quiet and going to the lake. Stayed here a few times in 2011 while house-hunting in the area. It's not 5star but neither are the prices. It does have stunning views of the lake (and sunrise), a great breakfast, and perfect location for the sights and better restaurants of Nyon. A very traditional, totally non corporate hotel. Lovely ambience, decent size room overlooking the lake, all necessary amenities. Very good breakfast.
