Breakfast in the bar shared by locals coming in for morning coffee, Friendly helpful proprietor (Fam. Gemmet) and staff. A short walk up from the railway station

I stopped at this hotel on 9/12/2009. I talked to the owner about a room for 2 and he quoted me a price of 160.00, which i assumed was Euros. I replied that the price was more than I wanted to pay. The Hotel Du Pont, Marktplatz 1, is situated right next to the river and near shops and a few restaurants. An old fashioned type of Hotel, warm, friendly and busy with the ground floor bar and dining area full of locals by 6pm. Decent meals served in a family atmosphere.
