after a lot of driving and getting lost we were in desperate need of finding somewhere to stay for 1 night we came across ratskeller hotel the rooms were really nice and the beds very comfortable. the guy at reception was extremally helpful even though he spoke very little english. there was plenty of parking nearby cost 50 cents for the night as long as your out by 9am. just remember where you parked as my husband was sure the car had been stolen but he went to the wrong parking lot.. the hotel is at the top end of a town sq which at the time was covered in scafold for re buiding. next door was a cafe which sold icecreams beers and sandwiches and there were a few bars in the area. as we were there at night time we didnt actually see anything of saarlouise but we did see a casino. we would definatly stay there again. which we are in july for a stopover again.
