This is a cheap, scruffy hotel not quite within walkin distance from the town centre. The room was basic but there is no lift. The hotel has a large car park but it is best to pay extra for garaging on site as someone tried to get into our car that night which triggered the alarm. Fortunately our room overlooked the car park so our prompt action saved the situation. We were expecting a mediochre breakfast but were stunned at the choice and quality - the breakfast was worth the price of the room alone. OK for an overnight business stop but not ideal for tourists. more
