Great Hotel and restaurant! The hotel owner speaks very good English and was able to direct us to where we wanted to go. The restaurant served excellent meals at good prices. I had my best meal of my entire trip at this restaurant. The hotel is set in a peaceful setting. The room we had was large with three windows... More

If only you could give 3.5 stars..... This hotel deserves it. Let me say at the start we had no complaints about the hotel. Nestling in the hills just out of Cochem it's not too convenient for walking in (25 minutes down and 30 minutes up) but is very convenient for total and complete peace (5 mins up the path... More

Our stay at the hotel began poorly, with our hostess greeting us with a scowl. Her husband was, at first, pleasant enough, but he, too, became quite cold and unpleasant. Was it because we didn't eat at the hotel restaurant every night? Who knows. But, for whatever reason, my wife (a native German speaker) and I both found their behavior... More

Generally quiet, 3km outside Cochem. Very much liked the people and the restaurant - everything nice, clean and tidy.
