This was an excellent location right next to the motorway. We used this hotel on both the outward and return journey across Europe from Calais to the Danube. The hotel is very clean, staff are pleasant and helpful, the breakfasts were superb and the restaurant evening meal was very good. However, a useful tip when booking is to avoid any room that overlooks the open patio area within the hotel. Our second visit was spoiled by noise from a group of people occupying the patio, presumably enjoying after dinner drinks. Closing the windows still did not reduce the noise. They quietened down by midnight but if you are planning a long drive the next day it can be troublesome. So rather than begrudging other guests fun, ask for a quiet room in case there is a group on site. more
