I found this hotel through TripAdvisor and had a most pleasant stay. The historic hotel is still run by a family who helped me a great deal with my travel arrangements. I arrived very early in the morning at Düsseldorf airport and it was no problem to check-in early and take a nap already. The room was simple but very... More

The owners are very welcoming and serve a very generous breakfast. There are plenty of beautiful hiking and biking opportunities around. Good starting position for a trip into the region. We liked it very much. It is quiet and we had a very big room.

We, a family with two small children, stayed at the Hotel Bergischer Hof end of October 2011 as we were traveling through the area. We found the website online and reserved for two nights. The staff at check-in was really kind and quick and we were happy to see that the baby bed was already set up for us in... More

My boyfreind, bestfriend and I stumbled upon this Bed and Breakfast and even though they were closed they let us in and gave us a selection of rooms to stay in. I felt right at home and the couple who owns/runs it went out of their way to accomodate us. Breakfast was great and its close to lots of castles... More

This hotel is a premium value. The atmosphere both inside and outside the hotel is VERY German. The service is excellent, the food is absolutely outstanding, and the people are both friendly and congenial. We were there in their slower season so we were treated more like friends than guests. They even remembered my birthday with a gift of local... More

I just stayed for 5 nights at this hotel in Konigswinter, and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I hadn't organised accommodation prior to arriving in the town, and just walked into this hotel as it looked nice. I was met by the very couple who own the hotel, and was given a great room on the spot. The owners were... More

First, it is important to note that this is NOT the hotel of the same name in Cologne/Koln. THAT hotel has bad reviews. This hotel is in the smaller city of Konigswinter, about 30 minutes from Koln by train, and a short walk from the train station, the Rhine, and the nice little pedstrian-only mall with shops and cafes. Free... More
