“good skiing hotel”

Have stayed here twice in last 3 years for skiing. Great location as it is yomping distance from Wurmberg cablecar with skis, so don't need to drive. Some parking is available that is dug out during snow. This is a very old hotel - very dated and not refurbished for many decades. However, it is comfortable enough and very competatively... More

“old world charm”

We stayed here between Xmas and New Year, mainly because it was the only hotel in town available at a sensible price at that time. A pleasant surprise--old fashioned (a bit clunky and tiny rooms) but not run down and the usual excellent German breakfast and a friendly atmosphere. Centrally located on more or less the main intersection of Braunlage.
