We were visiting the family of our former exchange student, and they booked us in this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was plenty of food and a good variety. The best part was the view of the town square from the window. We stayed two nights and would definitely stay there again.

Braunfels is an idyllic village north of Frankfurt at the base of a castle crammed with art, armor, medieval furniture and other eye popping artifacts. I was very impressed with the whole place. Clean throughout the whole village, well kept houses with flourishing window boxes & beamed buildings made the place so pretty & enjoyable. I have stayed at the Schloß hotel several times while working in the Frankfurt area. Braunfels is the home town of my working colleague in the area. The rooms are large and comfortable.
