Really enjoyable stay only there for one night so we could visit the castles. All guests were involved in the entertainment,a huge line of people following each other through the hotel while dancing to the music!! Food lovely and breakfast was a pleasure.Very sad to leave it and will definitely be back.

We booked two double rooms for one night here, on our way along the Austrian / German border. Stayed here just last week. Staff was VERY friendly and most spoke some English. View of the valley and Neuschwanstein castle from our balcony was beautiful. The main reason international travellers will stay here is to visit Ludwigs castles including the spectacular Chitty Chitty Bang Bang castle. This is a basic Hotel which is clean and comfortable. It has character and is a typical Bavarian small hotel. Staff were friendly but have very limited English so have your phrase book to hand unless you speak German.... More
