A regular traveller to Wernigerode, this is the first time I have stayed at this hotel which is opposite the steam engine sheds of the HSB. From the friendly welcome, comfortable bedroom, excellent food topped off with efficient friendly service, it would be hard to wish for anything more! Looking forward to my next visit.

Great hotel to stay in if your visiting Wernigerode for the Herz Mountains Steam railway. 5 mins from main station, easy to find. Nice friendly staff, good rooms, good breakfast complete with model steam train going around the breakfast room. Ideal, would recommend.
